Our Story

Founded in May 2013, with operational roots in India since 2006, Polar Genetics India Pvt. Ltd. was established to modernise the Indian livestock sector through international genetics and scientific farm management practices.

In association with Canadian partners from Alberta, the company introduced high-health swine genetics, frozen boar semen technology, and structured breeding systems to Indian and international markets.

Over the years, Polar Genetics has contributed to:

  • Export of high-health breeding pigs to China, Chile, and the USA
  • Supply of frozen boar semen in India and abroad
  • Development of modern breeding & fattening units
  • Government livestock modernisation projects
  • Training programs for veterinarians and farm managers
